Florero " KAIKU" Vase

The 'kaiku' is a vessel used for milking and for cooking milk or whey by immersing a hot stone. Of prehistoric origin, it has several remarkable features: its shape, which is hand-cast from a single piece of wood, and its special handle. The shape, derived from a cylinder with an inclined shaft, is perfectly suited to milking and allows the milk to be poured out without spilling. Its curious handle, protruding from the rim and carved towards the inside of the mouth of the glass, allows it to be held in different ways and to keep it stable during transport.
